I tried two pairs of this particular shoe. [...] Unfortunately, both pairs in my usual sizes were just a bit short in one shoe. They were consistent, but short. I finally had to return them and get a different style.

I previously owned a pair of these and was very happy with the fit and wear of these shoes. The shoe is well-designed to give stability and support.
A solid buy for the money

Another good walking shoe from New Balance, although not quite as stable feeling as my 925s. The toe box is slightly narrower than on my 925s and other NBs I've had. I walk one to four miles at a time and these are a little firmer than most, although some padded inserts (buy good ones they're worth the difference) will fix that. The padding around the ankle and achilles tendon is excellent. New Balance changes little things with each new model so my advice is, if you find one you really love order an extra pair or two. Some just "stride" better than others in my opinion (kind of spring you forward), making for an easier walk. These are fine shoes, but not the absolute best I've had among the (probably) 10 pairs of New Balances I've owned.

Just like every other pair of New Balance I've owned - I've been exclusive to their brand for years now. They make a very comfortable, durable, stylish product that's affordable. Their shoes are always true to size - I have yet to order a set online that didn't fit exactly as I expected them to. Another great product!

I have had knee replacment & Dr advised New Balance for walking & these are perfect for me-overweight and 68. They seem more supportive than those available in local stores.

I am a hard fit, I wear a 14EEEE and I have circulation issues in my legs and feet. When I purchase a new pair and put them on for the first time, ahhhhhh. It's like putting on shippers I don't have any period of breaking them in. I highly recommend any New Balance shoe [...]

I have a problem with overpronation, this shoe changed my life. I have worn other New Balance, but my doctor suggested I get something in the 800 series. I bought these shoes and the pain went away.

Bought this shoe on sale and have been wearing it since. Very comfortable. The thing I like about the New Balance is that it reduces over pronation to a bare minimum. I've purchased other brands at the same price and they simply wore out in about a year. [...]
