I bought these shoes to replace a comfortable old pair of New Balance shoes that had seen better days. While reluctant to replace them, it was time. I was very happy with these Asics, as I have a very wide foot, and sizing is difficult. Often what is called "wide" is often what I would call normal width (like D). But not these shoes. They hug my foot very nicely and have a very comfortable cushion feel with every step. Now when I walk my dog, I have a bit more spring in every step. I have no "cons" for this shoe.

These shoes are great. I actually got 2 different pairs of walking shoes, and I would rate these a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend these shoes.
I walk and I'm very heavy, so I rotate the walking shoes. They are very comfortable. I don't have any "cons."

After being a loyal fan of another brand for several years, I decided to give these Asics a try and am very happy that I did. They are perfect for my extra-wide feet and the flat sole seems to help absorb the shock and spread it out evenly, creating a very comfortable walking dynamic. I have been a serious walker for 10 years, walking 5 miles every day. After trying several brands over the years, I thought I had found the best with another brand but decided to give the Asic Gel-Foundation Walker a try. They are the best so far! It pays to keep an eye out for something better.
