I have worn Saucony Grid Aura TR trail shoes for several years. I ordered the Grid Excursion TR last year. I have worn the shoes every day, either as a teacher (on my feet all day) or serious hiking in the hills and mountains. Additionally, I have recently stayed in these shoes for 12 hour days on a vacation. The Grid Excursion TR has all the durability, traction and other attributes of the Grid Aura Tr, with the added advantage of being much lighter. I ordered and recently received my 2nd pair of these shoes.

Cross Training, The shoe is extremely confortable and provides wonder support. Eliminated lower back pain on long cross country runs. Holds up and wears very well.

These shoes literally fit like a glove. The unique double eye loop at the top of the shoe makes sure the laces stay tight even if they come untied. The heel is very soft and responsive. My heels tend to get sore with other shoes but these have great impact resistance in the heel. These shoes have a low arch which is great for me but if you prefer a higher arch some Nikes may be better.

Extremely comfortable and lightweight trail runner - a hard-to-find combo. Plenty of bottom cushion for rocks, but the shoe is still flexible to allow for great comfort. Wears out a bit quicker than some shoes, but the added comfort makes it worth it.
