Rockport's Astride shoes are ideal for my daily 4 mile walk with my dogs, often through muddy trails and wet woods. The shoes are durable, supportive and dirt and mud washes right off them. My only complaint is that, lately, I can buy them only in black and white.

These are great shoes with a simple yet smart design that are well made and very comfortable. It is wonderful that one can still find a shoe style for a conservative lifestyle. Not everyone wants to be at the leading edge of shoe fashion mania.

When rating products, I go by the rule of "would you buy it again?" I just both my third pair. That says it all.
