I have been purchasing ASIC crosstrainers for years. This is the first pair that I am not completely satisfied with. I bought the shoe because of its stated lateral stability as I engage in many group activity classes at the gym. While it does have very good lateral stability, almost too good, it lacks in forefoot cushioning compared to other ASIC crosstrainer models. For those of you who are steppers or high impact aerobics people, I would not recommed.

These are my first pair of Asics and I will be shopping for more. They're very comfortable, the gel soles were an instant hit with me. I've been getting a lot of compliments on the style and they're just fun to wear if you're looking for some flashiness at a good price while having really good heel cushioning!
