Im a instructor at a gym in sweden
where me an my wife have training sessions
have used the asics gel 310-tr before and it?s the best darn shoe i?ve ever used so my expectations were big on this new shoe, but to put it simple i hate it

heal grip= nada
grip= poor
Comfort=if i tie the shoes so hard my gets numb then they work fairly

Sorry but i don?t like them

One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have owned in years. I have always bought ASICS and this is a great pair for walking. I do approximately 2 miles nightly with dog on streets and my feet feel as good on the end of my trek as they do before I start. Also like the fact they are lightweight and breathable.

THESE SHOES ARE AWESOME!!I TEACH SIX CARDIO CLASSES/WEEK.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SHOES TO ALL GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS AND PARTICIPANTS. THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE AND ARE GREAT FOR HIGH ARCHES. THEY PIVOT , AND MOLD TO YOUR FOOT. THEY COME UP HIGH ENOUGH TO THE ANKLE, SO YOU HAVE SUPPORT,BUT NOT CUTTING INTO THE ANKLE.
THEY ARE AWESOME FOR KICKBOXING, STEP AND DANCE CLASSES.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AVIA AGAIN.
