I didn't want to buy shoes online, because I would like to try them on before purchasing. But I could not find grey walking type shoes in bricks-and-mortar stores. All they had was mostly black or white.So I ordered these grey New Balance shoes online for their color. Of course the size 12 D shoes were too narrow, even though that is the only width I ever wore before. So then I ordered 12 2E, which is one width-size wider, the only wider shoe available in the same New Balance 574 style. When I opened the box, I measured the widths od both pairs the best I could using a ruler, and the 2E width seemed pretty much the exact same as the D width! I was expecting an obvious tenth of an inch wider width on the 2E's, at least.There are no wider widths, and I can't find any grey walking style shoes anywhere else, so I am going to try to live with the 2E's.

This shoe is great if you are on your feet all day. It also looks really stylish and cool.

This is a great pair of sneakers. I have a few of them. They look nice enough to wear out, and at the same time I can go running or to the gym in them. they are a good price for a great shoe.
