I play in a semi-competitive softball league and needed some new spikes or shoes. I have very wide feet and have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. These shoes are extremely comfortable and offer sufficient traction for my game.

I played baseball from the age of 4 - 18, then I started playing softball. I am now 27 and still consider myself very competitive and athletic. I have bought many other brands of turf shoes like Nike, Puma, Adidas, and Mizuno. These New Balance shoes are the best that (I) have played with. I play shortstop and sometimes the outfield; and yes they work well in both sand and grass. I am not putting the other brands down, but these New Balance sure do work good for me.

I am a Santa in the Branson area. I'm always looking for a good pair of red shoes that fit and wear well. The New Balance 805 fits the bill perfectly. They are comforable for standing on the toy shop floor or strolling around, talking to the children.

Best of all, when asked about the "N" on the side, I tell the kids it stands for "North Pole".

These are great and could only be improved by making a velcro version!!!
