Although the Saturn sock is a little thicker and has more cushion than most other SmartWool casual styles, it does hold up really well to constant wash and wear. Every time I do a load of laundry, my Saturns go in too (I wash and dry on regular settings). Like traditional wool products, the Saturn can get a little too "cozy" in the summer months for me, but unlike most traditional wool (that I can't wear because it's scratchy), SmartWool is super soft against the skin and I haven't found a hole in any pair in five years!
