Very nice, they breath, they are not hot, they are nicely cushioned. I have not had them long enough to speak to thier durablity, but they are well made and wash up nice.

Great sock for travel. I use it on our overseas and domestic leisure travel and it keeps my feet comfortable on a full day of walking and tourist activities. Warm, but not too, it works for a variety of temperatures.

The most useful comment is the fact that I can wear these wool socks and my feed do not prespire. I have always had such a problem with presperation, summer or winter, and these are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. My husband is now wearing SmartSocks too. We both love them! Good socks for daily use, particularly in cold weather, as well as day hikes. I also gave some as a gift, and the recipient enjoys them just as much as I do. The lighter weight SmartWool socks are appropriate for wearing with jeans and tennis shoes, too; they're not just for hiking or boots.
