Breeze GTX XCR® Review:

Finally broke down and paid a little extra for a pair of Narrow (B) boots. Normally put up with the medium (D) width because of the price and more choices (wear two pair of socks and use an insole). These were a little stiff when first out of the box. Had a ruptured acheilles tendon repaired years ago, and it rubbed a blister on the scar. After three outings and a large bandaid, problem solved. Love the light weight. I quail hunt in the southwest that is full of mesquite thorns, cactus, and a host of other things that penetrate the sole of most boots. The Vibram sole works great in repelling these, along with smoothing out the jagged rocks. Haven't had to use them in wet weather. They are cool and don't make my feet sweat like most hunting or hiking boots. They are almost too nice looking to scuff up. Will get another set in a different color soon. Great boot!!!

I purchased these shoes because I'm tried of stiff gym shoes that seem to fall apart as soon as they are broken in, and that always takes to long. I have been wearing Red Wing products for years and love them. So, knowing that Red Wing manufactures Vasque I started searching for an all around shoe in their line. The Juxt is a comfortable out of the box shoe made of the highest quality. So, it is worth a few extra bucks. I hiked 10 miles in them, right out of the box and my feet loved it! The shoe has great traction is comfortable/supportive and durability. If you care what your feet look like......well they are quite sporting as well.

A decent fitting hiking for narrow feet

It's too soon for me to judge - I haven't put these boots to any test yet. They feel good, perhaps a tiny bit wide for my 11-B feet - but I may be wrong there. They fit better than the narrow Lowe Renegades that I tried first. They have so much fabric ventilation built into them that I am a bit concerned that they will not be waterproof, but again, I haven't put them to the test yet. The laces are not the easiest I have had. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for narrow hiking boots.
