Most sandals on the market today have too much going on. They are more like sneakers with holes because they have so many straps. These sandals take me back to a time when sandals were just a sole that you strap to your foot. They're comfortable, also.

comfy sandal with nice neoprene type padding, except the strap is not well cushioned and just has leather inside. had to exchange for a size bigger, so get it bigger when in doubt!

Still deciding whether I like the leather insole. I have an older pair of timberlines that use another material. Still this is a great sandal. Timberlines seem to offer comfort that I haven't found in other higher dollar sandals.
