I work in restaurants. I originally wore Danskos. I got 4-5 years per pair out of them. Sanita was the logical next choice since they were the manufacturer all along, and new Danskos are chinese. The shoe's strengths are not instant comfort, but rather all day support. I can wear these for 8 hours and be able to walk the next day without getting foot cramping. They are very easy to keep clean. The floating heal originally took some getting used to, but it's great once you do. Mostly I love the design.

My issue is with the last two pairs I have owned. The soles are cracking right under the ball of the foot, all the way through. It's occurring on both the right and left and the cracking goes from one side to the other almost all the way to the leather. (I weigh the same as I used to, btw.) Sanita will warrant them, but I want my shoes to last. I'm not sure what to do. I may try the Leo next. I've tried Klogs and they are slippery and they don't make 11.5.

i'm a nursing student that wanted to make sure i wasn't coming home with my feet/back hurting from being on them all day. i ordered the dansko ones first but realized that sanita is actually the better quality and MUCH better fit. from what i learned, danskos are made in china while the sanitas are still made in holland. the quality difference was unbelievable. the fit of the sanitas is also much better and the shoes didn't vary (w/in sizes) as much as the danskos. i ordered a size 43 and i wear a size 10.5 women's shoe. so, DEF figure out ur size first. i'm also an athlete n love my tennis shoes but these have just bumped the tennis shoes in comfort! i couldn"t believe how great my feet felt at the end of the day!

I just got these Sanita clogs and have found out that Sanita made all of the old Dansko clogs. Dansko just put their name on the clogs. Dansko now makes their own clogs in China and not in Denmark. Sanita are the real things. They also have narrow sizes and I find the Sanita narrow clogs fit so much better than my Dansko clogs. If you can't find your size, then find a local shoe store that will fit you. The clogs are handmade so there is some variation in the way each pair fits. I love these for work and play. My feet now don't bother me.

I love these clogs! I wear them walking to and from town, traveling (great for airports), shopping, dining, anywhere I can.I am a die hard fashion person and something about a clog feels right on, I might be ahead of the trendies here or it may be that my life has gone more casual and a simple, comfortable, good for your back/posture shoe just makes sense.I have them in brown napa and will be going back for the black pair very soon.[...]*buy them true to size and they should have a little room in the heel area for perfect fit.
