I really enjoyed getting these shoes because they are of a solid design and they look fantastic. They did need to be broken in. The leather was a little stiff. But I love how they look and feel! I mainly use them for church and other formal events. I was actually at a funeral the other day and the grass around the grave site was miserably saturated in about one to two inches of water. Everyone was dancing around trying to get through it while I was striding through. I even took a couple more trips through it to carry some kids and ladies through it. after it all, I was completely dry and shining them back up was easy!

The most comfortable dress shoe I have ever owned! I have had a pair of these for 2 years now and they still look great (with a little polish). There is no sign of wearing out on the sole or stitching. This shoe is truly waterproof. I like them so much I was afraid Rockport would discontinue this style so I purchased 2 additional pairs. (The "Evander" by Rockport is the exact same shoe if you do not like the cap toe)

Great all around shoe. Can wear with a suit or on a casual Friday. Elegant but unpretentious and always comfortable. Tradeoff is that soft cushioning sole wears out quicker than leather. My third pair!

These shoes fit very nice, but the finish is very dull compared to the pic online. I will probably keep for a backup pair since they were on sale. I should have listened to the review that said "You will not be taken seriously in these shoes". They're comfortable, but they look synthetic.
