I work in an office and I needed a shoe that I could wear for long hours at work. New Balance is usually pretty good quality and these are no different. I bought the Bone colored shoes and they are not as ugly as I was thinking they were going to be. I do not know why shoe companies insist that all walking shoes be incredibly ugly but they do. While these still look like nurse shoes, and the older people in the office love them, they at least do not stand out too bad.

Overall the fit and support are good. I weigh 250 lbs. and they are a bit on the heavy side. It took me about 3 or 4 days to get the stiffness out but they are pretty comfortable. I wear custom orthotics because I have really flat feet. If you need orthotics as well I would recommend you take the lining out of the shoe. They are not that deep and before I took mine out my heel was resting too far up on the cup and it can cause pain after a while.

One other thing to note, they are not well ventilated at all. Your feet will probably get pretty hot in them, but still worth it.
