My husband loves these shoes. they help with his back, leg and foot pain. He even bought a pair for work. He is a carpenter and is on his feet all day. The only thing is he wishes they were a little bit more durable to handle the work condition.

I am an avid runner of 5k disatnce and as I've gotten older (58) I look for shoes that will keep my legs from hurting. I have a pronation tendency and these keep my legs in alignment. They are very lightweight and so comfortable they feel like I'm wearing slippers. Couldn't be happier with them.

I use these shoes to run on the tread mill and outside. After finally analyzing my foot type, it turns out I have a neutral foot. Needless to say, all the shoes I had turned out to be the wrong type. I ordered these and a pair of addidas. Both shoes made me realize just how important the right shoes are. The New Balance are truer to size than the Addidas and have a lot more shock absorbtion. So far I am totally impressed. We'll see how they hold up. I've got about 25 miles on them so far. My feet and knees have never been happier.

As a person with wide feet, I have worn New Balance shoes for years. This is the first time I have worn this model and was very satisfied by its feel and performance. Not sure if the current model has corrected the sizing, but the 1224 fits a half size small.

Shoe is very comfortable and also takes away leg and back pain I have had during workouts. Would recomend this shoe as well as onlineshoes.com Price was $40 cheaper than the sporting goods stores. I went there, tried shoe on and got size then came home and ordered.
