Great shoe, just be aware of one thing!

I've owned numerous pairs of this shoe. I am very hard to fit, as I require a 7 wide. There's only one strange feature of this show that has happened with every pair, and that I have seen written on message boards: after about 6 months, they start smelling like cat urine, and must be replaced! There is something about the decomposition of the materials, and there is no way to fix it. But running shoes lasting 6 months are OK by me. Just don't blame a nearby cat when this happens!

I have been using this style for at least 20 years and it functions as advertsied. Not all runners are 5'10" and weigh 150 lbs. For those of us who are over 6' and 200 lbs, this shoe is great. It is durable, wears well and is reasonably priced. The old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" certainly applies to this shoe.

Very comfortable!

Great for walking 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill three days a week. Also using as "indoor" shoes because they are so comfortable. Virtually no break-in required, they were very comfortable right out of the box.

I have to wear orthotics and have issues with pronation due to injuries from an accident. This shoe gives me the stability I need, the extra width and depth allow plenty of room for my orthotics. I have been wearing this shoe (or a previous version of it) for 25years...... best shoe I can buy for my needs.
