Neil M shoes are a bit confusing. I have purchased 6 pairs in the last couple of months--because they are one of the few that offer EEE width, along with Allen Edmonds--whose shoes are much more dressy. I like Neil M shoes as they can be casual and dressy. Plus the shoes appear to be well made and sturdy. What is confusion for me is the sizing. Of the 6 pair, 3 fit with 10 EEE and 3 are 10.5 EEE. One of the 10 EEE feels a little large still (but not enough to warrant a smaller size) and one of the 10.5 EEE is just a little tight.
When I order a Neil M shoe, I almost have to order both a 10 EEE and a 10.5 EEE to ensure I get one that fits. I usually just order the 10.5EEE and if too big, then order the 10EEE and return the 10.5. It seems odd that the sizing would be different from shoe to shoe.
But I like the quality and the looks and other than this "ordering hassle", I am real happy with all my Neil M's!
And if Neil M is listening, it would be great if they would make belts that match some of their suede shoes or the taupe Salerno.
