Got these socks for my husband to wear...he loves them because they are low enough to barely show with shoes. They also durable but thin and they breathe well and don't cause sweaty feet. Would highly recommend for those picky men!

These socks were for my husband who can never seem to find the "right" socks. They are either too thick or too high or the wrong color. These went perfectly with his shoes for the summer and they were thin enough that they didn't make his feet sweaty like most socks in the summer. We are buying more!! Great socks for those picky men!

I bought these socks for walking - both for on the treadmill and out-n-about. With my walking shoes, they are perfect. With my hiking shoes (which have a higher back), the heal tends to slide down ever so slightly. The material is awesome - I can wear and wear these thin socks without getting blisters or without them wearing out.

I'll admit I was a little hesitant to pay a lot for a below-ankle sock. I like to wear them in the summer with tennis shoes and casual shoes, and have mostly used inexpensive one-size-fits-all cotton ankle socks from the warehouse store which I have to stretch to the limit to fit my size 12 feet. To me, the best thing about the Lorpens Walking Coolmax Mini sock is -- they fit great! They're comfortable for my morning walks with the dogs, and do seem to wick moisture away quite well. I've had them only a little over a month, so I can't evaluate their durability.

I expected these to be a little more substantial, especially since they were expensive. Seem too thin to last very long. Time will tell. The Nike Coolmax atheltic socks I puchased recently at a local retail store seem more substantial, durable, and comfortable for about a third of the price of these Lorpens. The Lorpens are comfortable, though.
