- extremely well made - free extra laces - very thick leather - very aggressive sole - stiff at first but break in quickly and well - very warm; too warm for summer - looks very stylish and conservative

Lasted, still going 18months later

The insoles only lasted 4-6 months before they were paper thin at the balls of my feet. Replaced with Superfeet. The laces shredded themselves on the eyelets. The lower pressed in eyelets are flimsy and have bent up and folded over themselves. The sole rubber is cheap and will splinter and peel off easily compared to high quality vibram soles. With the negatives covered, they are still serviceable for me in a brewery. They can get hot but they are no hotter than wearing non-breathing rubber boots, that people typically wear in a brewery. I have spilled chemicals on them and had them splashes with chemicals. The nubuck has been maintained using a boot oil regularly because my wet environment with harsh cleaning chemicals can dry out and eat boots that are not rubber.
