My son just received this backpack for his laptop. He has a very small frame, and it appears to be very roomy for its size (not so big that it overwhelms his small size, but not so small that there isn't room for everything he needs) - he can fit enough belongings inside for an overnight trip along with his laptop. Looks very durable and well made.

We like the rubber bottom, and there seem to be enough pockets and places for things, but not so many that it's difficult to find things inside. The laptop sleeve is very soft, offering good protection without scratching. It is also nice that it doesn't LOOK like a laptop bag, so hopefully won't be targeted for getting stolen. It's got a nice, simple design.

The straps are padded and very comfortable, and the surface that is against the wearer's back is clearly designed to keep from getting sweaty or rubbing. There is a nubbly, rubber surface covered with mesh, creating a kind of massage effect with air channels to keep cool.

The only thing it lacks (and our reason for 4 stars rather than 5) is an mp3 pocket with earphone port. Many, if not most, other packs in this size & price range have that feature. Still the best pack we could find, and the pros definitely make it worth buying.
