This is a great bag. The top flap, which unfolds to be a handle for larger loads or alternative carrying, covers a very convenient pocket to stow smaller things for easy access. This pocket has one smaller pocket, which I think is waterproof, and has a clasp for keys. Unlike other messenger bags, this truly is easy access because of the shorter handle flap versus the longer flap that most messenger bags have. There's also a larger pocket on the back of the outside of the bag, big enough for papers and folders. I love the nifty light that comes on when I open the main compartment. The main compartment can hold plenty, and I'm repeatedly pleasantly surprised by how much it can hold and still not feel too bulky. I use this for my laptop, books and folders, and my knitting supplies (in fact, it's great for knitting because I leave my ball of yarn in the bag and can easily pull out yarn without the ball rolling everywhere due to the magnetized handle closure). There are also compartments on the outside that the straps are attached to which can hold a water bottle and go unnoticed when not in use. All of these details are just what I was looking for.
The one thing that is missing for me is a easy access pocket for a cell phone. It is fine in the pocket under the flap, but it would be nice to have a separate pocket like so many other bags do.

Like all Keen products this bag is sturdy and well-made. I appreciate the way the flap can be opened and the bag not only gets more room, but can be carried by its handles. I wish the handles themselves were wider so that the bag could be put over the handle of a piece of wheeled luggage. This is a great traveling bag and being able to integrate it with a carry-on would make it even better. It has a practical magnet closure so it doesn't flop open and an interior light. My only reservation about the bag is the colors. How about some more exciting colors and patterns?

I commute a very long distance (round trip each day 144 miles). I drive to a train, take the train to a bus and finally arrive at work. I need a bag that can carry make-up, lunch and snacks, water and a 17inch laptop. This little sweetheart does it all and it's easy to carry. One of the doctors I work with actually took the liberty to snoop through my bag to check it out. He tried it on and decided he just had to have on, too. Thus it has become the "most coveted bag" in our group. Features I really like are the LCD light in the main compartment and magnets to keep the bag closed. It is a very well constructed bag made of durable, easy-care materials. It looks sharp, is easy to carry when stuffed full of things and is an easy price. More, please!!

I use the bag primarily to carry my knitting and a book when on the go. It holds all I need, environmentally friendly, and a great little light so I can find those small double points that get lost in other bags
