Great running shoe, great value

The K-Swiss Tubes are a neutral trainer for the biomechanically efficient runner who wants really good cushioning, responsiveness (the flexibility and smoothness of the heel-to-toe transition) and likes a good looking shoe (hard not to mention the flashy packaging). Another perk, these shoes are lightweight. If you're 200+ pounds you might want something more substantial, the cushioning system may not hold up well with a heavier runner. I've been wear-testing the K-Swiss Tubes for the past three weeks and not until now did I realize how reasonably priced they are; I run in a lot of shoes that cost nearly double what the Tubes do and the K-Swiss Tubes hold their own against much more expensive running shoes. The K-Swiss Tubes Run 100 is impressively well-cushioned and responsive from heel-to-toe, particularly for a running shoe that retails well below $100. At this price point I have to give the K-Swiss Tubes Run 100 5 stars, it's a great shoe for the price and I don't know any other shoe close to it's price tag that performs nearly as well.

Training for first marathon

I'm 43 yrs old and training for my first marathon. These had very little break in time and I've been extremely pleased with them. I plan to buy another pair before my race. I guess I had a tendency to shuffle but these shoes cured me as it took some time to get used to the large treads. I tripped but caught myself a few times just before a face plant.

Love these shoes

My husband loves these shoes. He usually buys Asics for running, but I bought these for his birthday and he says they're great. The tubes give them extra cushion/shock absorption and they are very light and breathable. At first he was worried they would wear out quickly, since he runs trails quite a bit. But he's had them for almost three months now, and they aren't showing signs of wear. He runs 10-15 miles per week.

Suprising results

I was pretty uncertain about buying these shoes for running. I've always been a Nike/Mizuno guy, but I saw these K-Swiss and thought the cushioning looked plausible. Man, was I pleasantly surprised. These are the most cushioned, comfortable running shoes I have ever laced up. I put in about 35-40 miles a week and so far after 3 weeks these have held up. I will see how they wear after more than a month or two, because the tubes look like they shouldn't last a long time ... I just don't know at this point. Even if they don't wear well, I am thinking about getting another pair, just for the comfort factor, for casual jean use.
