I own a farm in Nebraska and do many things manually, such as barn cleaning, fencing, windbreak maintenance. I need to carry very heavy fencing long distances and worry about turning an ankle or hurting my feet under all the weight. I am awful hard on equipment and especially boots. These boots have not only held up extremely well the 9-inch neck has kept my ankles safe. I have now worn them in winter and hot summer and with the great liner have never had cold or sweaty feet.
