My wife purchased these boots as a Christmas gift to me. I've used nothing but Hi-Tec boots for the last 20 + years, and these are my third pair in that span of time. These are the first leather boots from them I've had. "Pacific Coast Trails" models made of both suede (my original pair) and Goretex material (the second pair) comprised my earlier 2 pair, respectively. So far, I have no complaints from these new boots. They're very light, comfortable, and protective. I find I enjoy wearing them even when I am not planning on hiking, but could encounter unfavorable weather (it is winter and snow cover continues here in Virginia).

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt--in fact, it was expedited at the same cost as an upgrade from onlineshoes. Their personnel were extremely courteous and helpful.

I bought this same boot in brown 4 years ago and I still wear it! Ive hiked through Alaska in those boots for years and they are still holding up. I decided to get the black pair and am very happy so far. They need a little breaking in to be as comfortable as my other pair, but that is to be expected. Very light weight and durable.

My husband works on his feet for 10+ hours a day. He absolutely loves these shoes. We have purchased 5 pairs over the last 3 years. He has a pair that he uses for work and one for other times. I even catch him wearing them to work with shorts in the summertime. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone. They are stylish and durable. A great buy!

This is the best hiking boot I have ever owned. I loved it so much, I bought a second pair. They are extremely comfortable and durable, keep out rain, and are very supportive of my ankles and tendons. I suffered achilles tendonitis last year so the support was very noticeable.

I highly recommend to anyone who is on their feet all day, outdoors, or an avid hiker like myself.
