This is a great shoe. I particularly like the light color brown. Some of the Dr. Martens browns, like the goucho volcano are too dark for me, they seem almost black in dim light. The style of this shoe is like an old classic workboot, but more refined. They need a little breaking in, and if you have a high arch they can feel a little tight at first. All in all a great long lasting shoe.

Comfortable right out of the box, good support and grip, stylish for casual wear yet good for work, but DOES NOT LAST. The first pair I purchased lasted about 4 months, which of course is past the 90 day return policy; however, return department agreed there was a defect and sent me a new pair. Now it is 4 months later and my second pair have separated at the welt (sole) again! I like the look of the boot, but I am going to pick a different one now

After the first day with these, I almost returned them because they made my feet very sore for the first day at the office. I had them packed up to return but ultimately decided to give them another try. The next day I tied them a little looser and they were incredibly comfortable, with no soreness at all. So I either tied them too tightly that first day or they needed a day to "break in" but either way, I'm really glad I didn't return them. They have quickly become my favorite shoes. They look rugged and stylish with either khakis for the office or with jeans for going out, and are (now) so comfortable I feel like I am wearing slippers when wearing them. That first day of soreness is the only reason I gave them four stars instead of five. DON'T TIE THEM TOO TIGHTLY and you will be incredibly pleased.

This pair is both comfortable and durable. Good for walking around the downtown area. I bought a pair in black as well.

These shoes are some of the best fitting NEW shoes that i have ever worn. No need to break them in, they feel great. As always with any pair of Docs - great shoes

These have been a pretty much been an everyday boot for me so far this school year. They go great with jeans, and I also use them for work as the are very dressy and go with about anything I wear besides black.
