I've never owned a pair of Dr. Martens before because I was always a little put off with the heavy sole that seemed to really stand out. When I saw the Kurt's and it's more blended in sole I had to buy them. They are my favorite shoes. After breaking them in for a couple of days inside the house I went on a trip back east and walked all over Boston for two days with these shoes. These never gave me a problem and felt very good on tired feet. I wish they came in more colors but this color is very versatile and the type of finish allows you to rub out any scuffs. I would recommend these to a friend but then I want to be the only one to own these unique and handsome shoes.
