Comments about Dr Martens 7A43 Grip Trax WP Rigger Boot:

Easy to break in, comfortable from the start. On my second outing with them, I found myself standing in water while in the brush and I didn't even realize it - definately water proof. They felt stable while working on slopes.

Comments about Dr Martens 7A43 Grip Trax WP Rigger Boot:

front seam on shin ripped first time I tried to jam my foot in it. Rubber toe caps started to shred all the way down to stitch line immediately, very bad design there for a work boot. Durability of leather and waterproofing have been good.

Comments about Dr Martens 7A43 Grip Trax WP Rigger Boot:

Extra cushioning make this work book excellent in construction along with durability. In the past magnetic insoles have been needed in work boots, until now!!! What a comfortable and functional boot for work.

Comments about Dr Martens 7A43 Grip Trax WP Rigger Boot:

Bought for Oilfield use where steel toes are mandatory. Very comfortable boot, lightweight and easy to pack for those overseas trips. Toe didn't get all banged up like redwings. Slip resistance is normal for this type of boot. More of a North Sea rigger boot. I'm pleased with the boots.

Comments about Dr Martens 7A43 Grip Trax WP Rigger Boot:

I got these for working in deeper mud and snow conditions. The steel toe absorbs a lot of cold and stays cold well after leaving the environment. This can be said for all steel toe boots though so not a con just a warning. The extra padding around the ankle seemed odd at first, but I slipped pretty badly and I think it may have saved an ankle injury! Have only used them 10-12 times but they seem rugged and long lasting. The leather should be treated with a spray (I don't recommend mink oil nor does the tag). Good buy glad I got them.
