I've owned 4 pairs of steel toed Docs, wearing them 50+ hr.s per week over the last 15 years and they've all worn like iron, usually lasting 4 or 5 times as long as cheap discount store work boots. I thought their quality would suffer when they moved production to Asia, but I have to admit I don't see a lot of difference. My only complaint with this pair is the fit. The eyelets almost completely cover the tongue when laced up snugly. They may need an additional insole once they're broken in.
