I am an entertainer with a damaged left heel, and this shoe has allowed me to work the stage in a way that few people even notice I have a problem when my foot gets sore. It allows me to stand normally and takes the pressure off of my damaged heel by giving me the lift needed to relax the foot for long periods of performing. The style also compliments my normal stage wear.

Most comfortable shoes I own. This was a replacement for my 10 year old Dansko Clogs that finally gave up the ghost. These are much more stylish and better fitting. My foot is stable in the shoe and I am able to wear them all day and not feel fatigued. Great Shoes.

This is my first pair of Danskos. I work in the operating room and am on my feet quite a lot so I thought I'd check out all the good reviews for myself. So far so good. I've been wearing these shoes about a month and I am pleasantly surprised. They felt very good right out of the box. They take a little getting used to as they are a bit heavier than any clog I've worn before, but I can really see the effect when I get out of bed each day. I usually limped around quite a bit as I got out of bed until my ankles warmed up. I have seen a noticeable difference lately that I can only attribute to my daskos. I don't have near the stiffness I had in the past. The daskos are a little deceptive on sizing. I have a high instep which makes sizing tricky for me. I normally wear a size 11 wide which translated into a 45 for me on the Cutter. On the contrary, I couldn't get my foot in a 45 in the Dasko Professional that I tried on locally. My deduction would be that the Cutters are a little more forgiving if you have wider feet. Overall, I've been very happy so far and I feel this shoe is well worth the price. We'll see how they hold up for the long term.

I am a chef and on my feet all day long. I have tried all kinds of "professional" shoes and none compare to these Dansko's. They are very comfortable and slip resistant! I would recommend them for anyone who is looking for a comfortable, great looking shoe.

Loved the shoe. Was wearing the Dansko Professional prior to the Cutter. Professional did not give me the cushion I needed on the tile surfaces I am on daily as a caterer. Did not need to "break" them in. Had no fatigue or aches in my feet. Only drawback I found, was that the inside lining on the shoe shredded and then came completely apart about six months after I bought them. Did not interrupt the comfort of the shoe, but I had hoped for they would last longer. I was actually able to also wear down the edge of the sole on the Cutter, which I was never able to do on the Professional, the soles are different. After a little less than a year, I had the cutter's completely broke down inside, to the point I was no longer able to wear due to foot fatigue. BUT I will definitely be purchasing another pair. I have not found anything that is as comfortable. I am a female with a large foot, and am unable to wear Dansko's womens shoes, so I was very happy to find the cutter, and I am very excited it is available in smooth leather now!

Order one size up, I normally ware a 42 in the Dansko clog, but the Cutter runs small and a 43 was the fit I needed. I work 12-16 hour shifts at a busy Trauma Center and the Cutter provides great support and comfort throughout my shift. I am on my second pair and will purchase a third without a doubt. I love the oiled finish, these shoes are very low maintenance and look great all the time dispite how hard I am on them. [...]
