I bought these shoes for my husband a few years ago and he has worn them every day since! And for someone who is very hard on shoes they have held up well! I finally just got him a new pair as a surprise for Christmas this year :)

Incredibly comfortable. I feel like I'm wearing sandals. If i had the money, I would buy a backup pair!

Delivery kinda slow (7 days). I've used Zappos before and my orders take less than 3 days.

My boots were in great condition, though.

The first thing you will notice out of the box is how light they are. Then you'll slide them on, take your first step and swear that these will be the most comfortable shoes you own. And they may be... for that first step. After a day walking around the mall my feet were killing me. The shoe doesn't provide any arch support and somehow that soft sole begins to feel like you're walking barefoot on pavement. I bought some shoe inserts and it made a world of difference. I love the retro style, the soft upper, but I think people caught on decades ago that they could make a better sole.

Steve McQueen made them famous, and it's a worthy addition to any man's wardrobe. Great with chinos and more formal things, the Desert Boot is terrific. Definitely buy them a half size too small, as they run big and lack a real tight feel.

These shoes are almost perfect! They can be dressed up for the office or dressed down with a pair of jeans and can even go great with shorts in the summer! They are extremly comfortable and after a few wears they or moulded to your feet. They complete the modern vintage look and will probably never go out of style. The only downside to this shoe is that because of the gum rubber sole, they attract dirt easily. There may be a cleaner out there you can get but otherwise these shoes are excellent!

Highly recommended!
