I love Chaco sandals. I've been wearing them for a few years now because of their exceptional arch support, durability and comfort. They don't wear down and lose their supportive features like other sandals do. They literally last for years and years.
During spring, summer and fall months I live in these sandals. What I really like about the new Chaco design is the super thick tread on the soles of the shoes.
I'm a woman and prefer the men's styles because although I don't have wide feet, the footbed feels more comfortable because of the additional width (I don't feel like I'll fall out of them while walking or hiking) and the straps seem sturdier and wider. I wear a woman's 8.5 so I pretend that I'm a 9 and order one size down in men's styles, an 8.

I just moved down to southern Texas and needed a pair of comfortable sandals for everyday that would be better than my [*] Sprawl Mart pair. These Chacos are the best. Comfortable, easy to break in, and molded quickly to my feet. I definitely recommend them.

This is my son's second pair of Chaco's. He literally wore his last pair everyday for a year. His straps broke after a year but the soles are still in good shape. He's getting his old saddles restrung for yard work. This pair is now for school. Very durable but also the soles are rigid.

Wear them every day for everything, one pull adjustment,great arch support. Outstanding sole provides great traction, can be resoled and re-strapped I have tried my brands and chaco is by far the best.
