I've hated ffs' since I was a kid. The strap between my toes was always uncomfortable and annoying. I purchased these to wear on an upcoming cruise. I tried them on. At first, they chafed and the toe straps were stiff. After the 3rd or 4th wearing, they became very comfortable. I LOVE 'EM!

I brought this flipflop for a cruise, and they performed great. I have purchased several flipflops in the past, and none were as comfortable as these. Let me tell you, I do no do well walking in flipflops, but these I did and walked everyway with them. From the cruise boat to the islands. I will dif. perchase again.

I wear my Chacos every single day as I live in Costa Rica and it's always sandals weather. My last pair lasted me over a year of constant use including beach, hiking, wear around the house, etc. Best of all, Chaco replaces or repairs for just a shipping fee if something breaks/goes wrong with the sandal.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery said 2-7 days and it took the full 7 days. I guess I can't be mad but it meant me missing the shipment by 1 day as my flight back to Costa Rica was the same day the sandals came, so my family had to send them down to me at additional cost. Oh well.

These are great flip-flops. If you live in warm weather and like to wear non-constricting shoes, these are great. I have custom made orthotics to correct over-pronation and these are the only sandals I can wear all day without my legs starting to ache.

Tight Fit

My second pair of Flips, the 3-year old pair is showing how hard I wear them. Besides, it is handy to have a second pair.
I have narrow feet for a guy (10B), but Chaco has really tightened up the width of this style. I had to try about 6 pairs before I found a pair which I could even slide into with difficulty. I really hope that this pair loosens up with wearing.
The Chaco footbed is really comfortable & supportive, that's why I like the brand and style.
I'd recommend these--but only to people with very narrow feet.
