Had a pair of these a few years back (not steel toe, however) which I loved... perfect fit, enormously comfortable, and a pleasure to walk in (Summer, Winter). These are not quite as great. They seem to run a bit large at certain points (especially around the ankle). What they really need are longer laces.... 63 inches (which I immed got) so that you can wrap the lace around the top of the boot and tie it snugly ... without that, they feel loose/sloppy. I walk a lot (40+ miles a week) and need a boot that holds my feet securely. At [$] I'd expect a bit better fit or, at least, better laces.

I use the product five days a week for work. Overall, I recommend these boots, but I must admit they are NOT easy to break-in. Expect a few weeks of difficulty including a blister or two before they become comfortable. After that, it's smooth sailing, but I did consider returning them during that time. If you are looking for functional workwear at a good price, you have found it, though.

My last pair of steel-toes, a cheaper brand from another seller, split in less than 6 months. I spend less than 8 hours a week on a machine room floor and the other 32 at a desk. I was happy to discover this seller, their wide selection, and their reasonable prices. Concerned about insole comfort (last pair, mentioned earlier, gave me knee pain I had never known before until I spent another $20 on gel insoles), these Cats have been comfortable without needing to modify or add any support.
