Bought them for my husband with knee problems. This is his second pair and the only shoe that his doctor recommended. His first pair lasted forever. This pair works well for him when he bikes or takes the dog for a run.

I was an Addiction fan before starting to wear these. As good as the Addiction was, these are even better. I have wide, flat feet. Shoes hurt in the arch area the first couple of days I wore them. I talked to Brooks shoes and they said if my feet continued to hurt longer than a week, return them because they weren't the right shoe for me. By day 4, my feet had completely converted to the structure of the Beast and I have never had such pain free workouts. I have several pair for exercise and casual. Only use the Addiction for work.

Wearing the Beast makes your feet sing for joy. They are the most versitile shoes I have ever owned...I wear them everywhere (except Sunday-go-to meetin'). I always keep a pair in reserve, and replace them every six months or so.

I have a severe case of pronated feet and these are the best shoes I have found to solve the problem. As long as you are comfortable with what size to order I highly recommend ordering these shoes now if you have flat feet.
