These are great sandals to wear when you are doing wet work outside or to walk on the beach. They are also comfortable enough to just wear all the time. They are very comfortable, you forget you have them on, I was looking for something to wear when I was working outside and these really do a great job, just rinse them off. I have ordered another pair of Birki's and I expect they will fit great too.

this is a great Sandal, I wear it around the house, in the garden, on the beach, it is just great all the time. It has all the support and comfort of a regular sandal but the added benefit of being washable. I can walk in and out of the water on the beach, work in the yard and get really dirty, just wash off my sandals, put them back on and go. Really great shoe, would recommend it highly as a beach walking shoe.

I use Birkis on a daily basis, I like the water resistant nature, comfort, ease of putting on and taking off. I wish I could repair the shoe effectively, I wear them so much that I tend to wear them out too fast.

This sandal has proved to be a great alternative/change from having to contantly wear shoes with an orthotic. My 10 year old has ankle problems due to heavy pronation but can use this shoe for a break. She used them while traveling in Europe. The waterproof nature is great for a kid but they sometimes rub her feet. She loves the look and so now does her 15 year old sister, hence her now wanting a pair.

My coworkers practically swoon when I wear these Birks to work. They love the whale design and colors. I love the comfort, sure footing, and fun design. No cramped toes or leg cramps at night. The arch support is the same as my regular Birks but I can wear these without fear of getting them wet or dirty. They just wipe clean.
