I wore penny loafer weejuns growing up (because it was trendy) and at that time they didn't last very long and wore out. They are now more durable and comfortable. The rubber heel is a plus, though the sole may need to be replaced within a year if your wear them frequently. Great for business casual/logo day wear at work.

I wear this as one of my rotation for work. They look great. I bought a wide width size, and while its OK on the width part, the shoe in general feels very tight and has caused blisters on one heal and near the big toe. After a little over a month of occasional wear it still feels stiff and the sole sslippery.
