These shoes are for my 60 year old mentally handicapped brother. He has medical issues with his left foot. He requires a high toe box and a wide footprint for stability. Based on the reviews, we ordered his actual shoe size except in wide. We removed the extra insole to make more room. This made these shoes fit beautifully. My brother loves these shoes. He says they are comfortable. They appear to be very sturdy, stable and slip resistant. The Velcro enclosure is a plus due to his mental disability.

Correction to my previous review.
My Brother's Keeper

This is a correction to my previous review. I stated we ordered my brother's actual shoe size except in wide. We actually ordered a half size larger and in wide. These shoes do run a half size small and a little narrow. At least for my brother's situation. I also marked these shoes feels true to size and feels true to width. This was because I ordered based on the reviews. To avoid confusion, the original review should state "feels half size too small" and "feels too narrow". You then make the necessary adjustments. I apologize for the confusion and mistakes. Bottom line, they are great shoes.

These were the best shoes my 38 year old handicapped son has had to date. Unfortuanely, the wore out across the toes and I hope we will get the next pair like the first pair very soon. He wears these to work at McDonald,s where he has worked for 21 years. He wants to wear only these shoes for the comfort and ease. Thanks for helping us.
