Cement Construction In cement construction, the shoe's upper is pulled over the inner sole to attach underneath it. Texture is applied to the upper to help adhesion, and the outer sole is glued onto it. Cement construction provides very secure attachment and excellent water resistance, yet is light and flexible. EVA Midsole A midsole made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, a synthetic compound easily shaped by heat and pressure to provide shock-absorbing cushioning and support. FlexFit™ Lining The Lycra® and neoprene FlexFit™ lining ensures a custom fit with no break-in period. OrthoLite® Footbed Footbed designed with wicking abilities to keep feet cool and dry. Absorbs shock to reduce foot fatigue. Soleassage™ Footbed A bottom sole comfort system using textured bumps that cushion the foot with a massaging effect. Strobel Construction Strobel Constructions involves the stitching of a sole-shaped fabric board to the upper part of the shoe. It is then slipped onto a last, and the upper is closed with stitches around the perimeter of the sole for a flexible fit and feel. |
