I bought a pair for each of my boys who are 6 and 8. We're all happy with the time saved by the bungee closures. The shoes look great and aren't too wild looking to by worn with most clothes. It was a bit challenging for the boys to put them on for the first 2 days. They seem to have stretched a bit and this is no longer an issue. I'm buying the next sizes for the boys now.

It is so hard to find shoes for my super-active, wide-footed 9-year-old who doesn't want to take time to tie laces or bother with straps coming loose. I believe this was the ONLY bungee-laced athletic shoe that ran long and wide enough to accomodate his foot. Plus it has all the New Balance comfort, and he thinks it looks cool, too. Love it!

Great shoe except that the bungee cord design makes the shoe more difficult to put on rather than easier. The cord is to stiff and needs more elasticity. But otherwise it is lightweight, breathable and fits my son's wide foot perfectly. He loves them once they are on. He wears a size 12.
