He just loves the shoe. He hates to tie shoes and would never untie onced tied. Would wiggle his foot into the shoe just so he would not have to untie and retie. This shoes solves the problem for him. He takes the time to loosen and retighten the shoe. Great shoe. It does not have velcro as stated in descrition, it is a bunge with locking tab

My 5 year old son loves these shoes. He says they are very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, the laces broke within a month of owning these shoes. I emailed the manufacturer and they can only send plain gray lases not the bungie laces as replacements.
