  • I am leading a group of Pilgrims on a trip to italy in November. 9 Months post-ops for ankle surgery, I am depending upon my Rockports to carry me through. Space and weight limitations control how much luggage I can take. But there is plenty of room for the RIGHT shoes.
    G-O-O-O-O-O-O-O- Rockport!

  • I stand at my full time job all day. Rockport shoes are the ONLY shoe I can wear all day on cement floors without my feet and back hurting realy bad. Rockport shoes support my feet like a feather pillow…you may consider calling them featherport….or feathersupport.

  • Rockport truWalk shoes would be ideal for me. I sprained the ligaments in my foot in June and have not fiound shoes that are comfortable to wear. These shoes sound like they would be comfortable and flexible. I am looking for something that will provide good support for my foot and something that will help me re-learn to walk naturally again.

And I love to maintain my style while getting around, but the city streets and bad shoes make for a terrible combination. • Ouch, who knew how difficult it would be to stay in shape during your middle years! I’ve been a walker for years to help stay in shape but am plagued with geriatric ailments despite being under 55. It’s not only the physical pain but the emotional and mental pain. I ask myself: “am I really that old?” First, I had to endure a spinal fusion over 4 years ago for a bad back (sciatica, bone spurs, herniated disks, and Spondylolisthesis—ad infinitim and ad nauseum), then on to left knee pain, and most recently, bone spurs and plantar fasciitis in my left foot. Now my podiatrist is prescribing orthotics to the tune of $400. But I will not give up walking so I’ll have to heed his advice. Finding comfortable shoes has plagued me since I was child having been genetically blessed with a wide foot and high arch which apparently predisposes me to plantar fasciitis. My mission continues to find the most comfortable shoe possible to ease my geriatric ailments. Please help me get my stride back!!!!!

  • Recently, I’ve been told that I, rather than my genetics, have created my poor health through destructive choices. Also, my physician believes that it can be reversed with both positive dieting and daily exercise. With encouragement through television shows like NBC’s The Biggest Loser and Oxygen’s Dance Your Ass Off, I want to get up and do something about my weight, instead of languishing about and buying and eating a box of Chocolate Oreo Cakesters at my personal pity party. I can not afford decent walking shoes because I literally work to pay bills. I want to change. I want this win badly. With a new pair of walking shoes, I know I can walk myself fit and possibly disease free. Permit me to win a pair of Rockport TruWalk shoes, and my guilt-free pleasure will be to freely exercise away my gained weight.

  • Good fitting comfortable shoes are critical to successful fitness. Rockport has amazing shoes that not only support feet, but look good while accomplishing that. I try to walk for an hour in the way to early morning to jump start my day.Additionally, when my family travels, we explore out of the way places – so again, the best fitting, supportive shoes win hands (really feet) down!

  • I am smitten with the Rockport Tyler Sneaker; I’m a police dispatcher as well as jail matron and I need a comfortable, yet stylish, shoe that can last me through my shift and frequently into a double. The shoes I have now bother me so bad that I sometimes slip them off at work just so my feet can have a bit of relief! I frequently “commute” to and from my desk to the lobby window to handle citizen complaints but the one complaining the most are my feet.

My day starts with getting the kids to school, then I go to work where I am on my feet throughout the whole day, then back to the kids activities, housework, and finally to bed. My feet hurt throughout the day without a good supportive shoe. I try to walk and exercise but my feet limit me because of the pain. Mom’s aren’t happy when they hurt. —By flowerlady on September 4, 2010 at 6:31 pm
  • How truWALK would benefit your fall commute? Well, I am a stay at home mom. That doesn’t mean that I always stay home. I have to walk my hind end off all day long. I walk to the bus stops (which is not too close to my home), then the stores and doctors, then back to the bus stops. That is not counting all the extra runnings I do and I have been trying to walk more to things than drive to save money and for my health. I could really use these as nothing really has helped my feet from being on them all day.

—By Amy Brewer on September 4, 2010 at 6:38 pm

  • Since I am retired, I do not have a commute, but I do try to do things like park away from the door in parking lots, etc. So having comfortable shoes would definitely make that easier on my feet in the walk to whatever door I am entering!

I spend half of my work-day on my feet, so I need good, comfortable shoes. I currently cannot afford the custom insoles from the Good Feet store that I have been told work well, and haven’t found any inexpensive ones that work. I would love to find a new brand of shoes that will make my commuting less painful and more pleasurable.
