Fitness favorites for the average Jane.
Less than a week to go until I run the Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The two- to three-week time period before the marathon is called tapering. Basically, it means exercising less as you reduce mileage and increase carbohydrates as you build your glycogen storage. The combination of more food and less running translates to one big challenge – both mentally and physically.
As my training is winding down , I’ve enjoyed lounging around in the comfort of the Brooks Motion Stretch Pant.
Perfect to throw on after work, on weekends, or post-workout, the Motion Stretch Pant is as comfy as my favorite pair of sweats – yet presentable enough to wear to the grocery store or a quick walk around the block with my dog. The stretch-woven polyester and spandex fabric is wonderfully soft next to the skin and never bunches or binds. And best of all, the fit is flattering, thanks to a semi-fitted design, mid-rise waist, and snaps at the hem.
Just as tapering is essential to marathon training, the Motion Stretch Pant is an important part of winding down in everyday life. This sporty pant for women offers an incredibly simple source of stress relief. Just pull them on and enjoy some down time!
