Fitness favorites for the average Jane
Ever since I was little, I’ve hoped to wake up to snow in Seattle on Christmas day. There is a whoppin’ 8% chance of snow on December 25th in the Pacific Northwest, so maybe Santa will deliver the fluffy stuff this year. Fingers crossed. Snowboots waiting.
If, by some strange chance it doesn’t happen, I’ve got a back-up wish. A list of wishes actually—for all things fun and fitness-related!
The SmartWool Pigs in a Blanket slipper
For post-workouts and evenings at home, this wonderful slipper fits the bill. It’s cute, cozy and has a supportive arch that is wonderful for flat feet (like mine).
This fun sock features a unique five-toe design that helps to strengthen the muscles in the leg and foot and aligns the toes for better posture, grip and balance. Colored with rainbow stripes, this sock is also eco-friendly, created from re-purposed recycled plastic bottles.
The adidas Santiago IV Team Bag
I’ve been schlepping an old bag to the gym for way too long. And now is the time to say good-bye to the old and ring in the new. Right? Right! It’s time to schlep around something fun and functional.
This one has been on my list since I went trekking in Bhutan two years ago! One of the other trekkers wore it almost every day and raved about it. Rightly so. It’s windproof, water-repellent and keeps you toasty warm with 800 fill-power goose down insulation.
I’ll settle for snow in Seattle. But this list comes in at a close second, Santa. Safe travels!
