  • My favorite outdoor activity is walking everyday. I have been diagnosed with severe acid reflux, and something I can do to assist doctors and medicine is keeping 20 pounds off. And the only way I can do THAT is by wearing Merrells due to foot problems! Getting older is wonderful, but it requires some help sometimes. Thank you Merrell!!

  • My favorite winter activity is sledding with my nieces in the backyard. We can do that for hours…usually races to see who gets down first. We also make snow forts, which are also fun.

  • I used to love to go cross country skiing when my knees were better. My brothers both lived out in the country with beautifully hand groomed trails. Now I do the next best thing to slowly see the nature around me. I love to walk so I can see, and appreciate, the contrast of the black branches against the snow and the tracks in of rabbits and assorted other widlife.

  • I love Ice Skating.
    I also love sledding.

  • I love walking in the snow – just enjoying the beautiful scenery and solitude. :)

—By Cindy on November 16, 2010 at 4:18 pm
  • I love going to the snow, hearing the squeaking crunch of fresh power under my boots, breathing the fresh pine scented air. Walking in the winter sun after a snowstorm is unforgettable. But just as much, I love sitting inside during a storm, cozy by the fire. These Merrell boots might give me the best of both worlds: I can be cozy while I’m outside.

  • I love taking a walk in the snow. We don’t get much snow here in Texas, so when I get a chance to be out in it, it’s a real cool blast!

    —By erob65 on November 16, 2010 at 6:22 pm
  • I just love walking in the deep beautiful snow with my rottie moe. I used to walk with homer also but he went to heaven on 11/15/2010. walking in the crisp great outdoors is what keeps me balanced and happy. these boots are stylish and extreamly warm. I miss my walking friend homer he was such a happy dog and loved to go for long walks to chase birds and deer and to dig gofers out of the ground.these boots keep your feet warm in the northern washington state weather.

  • I love hiking in the winter, breathing in the fresh crisp air, hear the crunch of the snow and sometimes seeing how many steps I can take on top of the snow after a hard freeze before sinking in:)

  • I love snow shoeing onto the frozen lake to build a snow family. Then we go inside for hot toddies and gaze at our snow family from inside Good family times and memories.

  • My favorite winter activity, pre-having children was downhill skiing. These days, its sledding outside with my two boys or building snow forts when the drifts get high enough.

—By tsachs on November 17, 2010 at 12:32 pm
  • My favorite winter outdoor activity is playing in the snow with my kids. Building a snowman or having a snowball fight.

—By jpohlmeier on November 17, 2010 at 12:34 pm
  • The first thing I do is stand outside and listen. When the world is quiet and snowflakes are falling, I like to look up into the sky, close my eyes, open out my mouth and stick out my tongue.

When the snow is good for packing, I like building giant snowmen in the front yard – we’re on a bus route and it’s fun for the kids to see a big happy snowman on their way to school!

—By Leanne on November 17, 2010 at 12:36 pm
  • I love to build a snowman every year with my kids. It is so much fun to see what they create every year!

—By janaglosson on November 17, 2010 at 12:40 pm

  • I LOVE Ice Skating. I grew up in California in the Bay Area, so our ice rink was inside, but I live in Ohio now, and after Thanksgiving Five Rivers Metropark (coolest park system EVERY) in Dayton, OH opens an outdoor rink. I absolutely LOVE it. I’ll actually get to go this year, because im not pregnant or carrying a toddler around for the first time in 3 years! LOL = )

  • we love to walk our dogs in the snow. All the noise is muted and everything looks so fresh. The dogs love it too.

—By gervitsd on November 17, 2010 at 1:17 pm
  • To be honest– I hate the winter weather. I would rather be inside where it is nice and toasty– So my favorite winter activities are cooking, reading, hanging out by the fire…etc.. But if I HAVE to be outside..I’d sure rather be as warm and dry (yet fashionable) as possible.

—By miearsk on November 17, 2010 at 1:49 pm
  • I love to SKI! After a long day on the slopes my feet and legs are sometimes so sore and tired they feel like jello. The best part is when you can get out of your stiff ski boots and slide on a pair of warm comfy boots. Those first steps are like walking on air! I’d love to be able to slide into a new pair of Merrells after hitting the slopes this season!

    —By taytay29 on November 17, 2010 at 1:52 pm
  • My favorite winter outdoor activity is playing outside with my 2 year old son. Even better–in the snow, but it doesn’t snow too often here. He loves running around and playing ball.

—By melaniepack on November 17, 2010 at 1:54 pm
  • My favorite winter activity is playing in the snow with my 2 children. I buy snow cone syrup in the summer so we can make real snow snow cones, right before we go in for a big cup of hot cocoa.

—By Madtox on November 17, 2010 at 2:09 pm
  • Actually, my favorite winter activity is just walking out in the snow. Especially at night when everything’s quiet and the snow is softly falling…

  • Living in Northern Wisconsin offers the perfect opportunity to get outside in the winter. My favorite winter activity is snow shoeing. I love walking through the snow covered pines and seeing animal tracks left in the snow. I am a huge Merrell fan and live in my Siren Gingers during the summer. I just purchased a pair of Siren Sports to get me through the fall. I would love a toasty pair of Encore Apex boots for the winter!

  • My favorite winter outdoor activity is walking in the snow with comfortable and warm boots. I grew up in the Caribbean and I saw snow for the first time in 1995. I am fascinated by the snow falling in the winter and walking in the snow and seeing everything white during the winter.

—By Penelope on November 17, 2010 at 3:41 pm
  • My two grandsons, 7 and 9 year old, love to make snowmen with me. We make one for everyone – dad, mom, each of them and gammy and papa. Then we all stand next to the snowmen and take a picture. We end our snowman making with a snowball fight.

—By Tommie on November 17, 2010 at 3:49 pm

  • We dont really have a winter in southern california…. it’s a freezing day when its less than 60 degrees! So… with that said, I do enjoy running! Esp in the morning when its crisp and you watch the sunrise as your body warms up. Then a hot shower. That’s a perfect morning.

—By julia on November 17, 2010 at 5:29 pm
  • My favorite outdoor winter activity is making snowmen with my two little girls. The excitement they exude is well worth the cold and wet conditions.

—By motorcyclenurse on November 17, 2010 at 7:12 pm
  • My all time absolute favorite outdoor winter activity is making snowmen with my two little girls. Any cold or wet feeling is pushed aside by the excitement they exude when making the snowmen.

—By motorcyclenurse on November 17, 2010 at 7:15 pm
  • I love to chop wood in the winter, you get a great workout! Chopping wood keeps you warm enough to forgo a coat in the cold, except for your feet…you need good boots for that! Merrell boots would be great for chopping wood! Keeping your feet warm is the hardest part, because otherwise the wood warms you twice: chopping it and later burning it in the fireplace. Nothing like a roaring winter fire in the fireplace to snuggle up and read a book (my favorite indoor winter-time activity, while we’re at it!).

—By Rosie K. on November 17, 2010 at 7:39 pm
  • I’m from Hawaii. In the winter, we go surf.

—By Jimmy on November 17, 2010 at 8:11 pm
  • Snow, mountains & downhill! Need I say more! My passion for the mountains has sustained memories and enthusiasm with my family for over 30 years. This year I broke my leg in Sept. but will be healed in time for March skiing in Montana! A positive attitude about life and living resulted in record healing! It will be escential for me to be sure-footed while walking around the mountain village! Merrell boots could certainly help keep me on my feet!

It’s so important to be warm and what better way to do that than wear Merrell boots or so I’ve been told. My favorite day would include close friends, white snow, hot campfire and warm feet in Merrell boots. Nothing could possiby be better, I’m sure. LLmathis

The first day we spent close to 10 hours outside, I thought I would be exhausted but instead I was ready to come back again the next day. So now we go cross country skiing every chance we get during the winter.

  • We had our first snow today, I geared up in my Merrel boots, and spent over one hour playing in the snow! My daughter loved it, made many snow-angels, but we did not manage to make a snowman. I am not made for skiing, so making forts and generally frolicking in the snow is my favorite (and shaking the branches of trees over the heads of little ones!)

  • My winter activity is riding a 30 minute ferry everyday to work. I stand outside to enjoy the scenery and try to stay warm with coats and blankets. Merrell shoes have helped me with my foot situation. They have the best support. I would love to have the merrell boots you are showing.. This would keep my feet warm in the winter while I am riding outside on the ferry.
    Thanks alot!

  • I wear Merrell shoes. I don’t wear anything else. I have big feet and I’m a big person. Before finding Merrells I wore through every shoe I owned, and I eventually wear through Merrells too, but very slowly.

When you say you have a sale on my favorite Merrell shoe, and you have one color and one size (size 9?) What man has a size 9 shoe? None that I know.

Years ago while working in Communist Russia I saw the government giving out shoes to anyone who wanted them. There was only one catch…they only had one style and one size…but they were free!

  • I have two favorite winter activities. First is walking on the Oregon Coast Beaches. Not as many people in the winter but, beautiful in it’s own way. Second is Leavenworth, WA. There is so much to do outside. The best part is having my family there with me. Merrill products keeps everyone comfy and cozy so that we can enjoy the great outdoors!

  • I am a single Mom with two young children whom I love to play with in the snow ! But time is short outdoors when your feet are too cold.. Would love to be able to spend more time playing with the girls in a new pair of Merrell boots.
