Enter to Win a Free Baggallini Bagg

Baggallini bags are designed with women’s needs in mind, and who better to know what a woman needs in a handbag than two veteran flight attendants?

In 1995, Dixie Powers and Ann Simmons set out to produce handbags that provide supreme functionality in a beautiful package. Guided and inspired by their combined years of travel experience, they were well aware of what features and qualities are traditionally inadequate (or missing altogether!) from women’s purses, totes, satchels and shoulder bags. In designing specifically ideal travel bags, they have also created bags that are equally perfect for trips to the mall, school, work or grocery store—that is, everywhere you need to go!

Although Baggallini bags come in a wide range of styles and sizes, certain hallmarks distinguish Baggallinis from most other handbags and accessories: Constructed from crinkle nylon, ripstop nylon or polyester microfiber, Baggallini products are lightweight, durable and water-resistant. Styles are offered in a range of rich, fade-resistant colors from muted earth tones to vibrant hues; some are also available in fun animal prints. Hardware—including zippers and zipper pulls, rivets and toggle closures—is durable, attractive and easy to grasp. Many styles feature genuine leather trim for a high-quality, tailored finish.

Perhaps the most distinguishing characteristics of Baggallini bags, from the smallest Baggallini wallet to the sportiest Baggallini backpack to the largest Baggallini rolling tote, are the sensible, intelligently placed organization options. These can include water bottle pockets, cell phone pockets, pen and lipstick holders, slip and zip pockets of all sizes, credit card slots, ID windows, laptop compartments and more. Many bags feature detachable coin purses that transform into wristlets, key fobs and leashes, and adjustable, removable or convertible straps. Styles with a zip-through back panel slide over a telescoping suitcase handle for easy transport when traveling. Smaller Baggallini bags can double as wallets that are easily slipped inside larger bags, while larger satchels and totes are roomy enough to transport a small pooch.

Not to make Fido or Fifi jealous, but a Baggallini bag could become your new best friend.

To celebrate the year-round versatility of Baggallini handbags, Onlineshoes.com and Baggallini are teaming up to give away a different, fabulously functional Baggallini product every month until the end of the year, starting in May 2010. Posted on the first Thursday of every month, the contest will run seven full days, through the following Wednesday. One lucky participant will be chosen at random to win the Baggallini Bag of the Month. Bookmark this page, so you can remember to come back once a month to enter!

What are you waiting for? Life deserves a beautiful Baggallini bagg. And good luck!

The giveaway has ended. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful submissions and make sure to check with Get in Gear Blog often, we’ve got many more exciting things on the calendar.

  • My Baggallini Sydney bagg and I would hightail it straight from the airport to Perth, where I would see my sister-in-law’s home for the first time. And thanks to the bag’s organizational abilities, I’ll know exactly where my scuba certification card is for the following morning!

  • If I had a chance to go to australia I would want to go to the opal mines. I think that a baggalini bag full of gems would be really cool. I would want to see how they mine them. I would want to see how the people live underground in the outback there. It would be neat to go see kangaroos and koala bears. Then I would want to go scuba diving off the great barrier reef. Those are my dreams of australia.

  • If I went to Australia with my Baggallini Sydney Bagg the first place I would go is the Sydney Opera House to get tickets. I would go to the National museums especially for environment and art and culture, to see some Outback, zoo, and discover something of the great Barrier Reef. I would ask what should I not miss in Australia. I would feel comfortable that my Bagg will help me keep my ticket, brochures, and personal needs organized.

  • I would love to go to Sydney and then to the outback country. I have heard and read alot about the country and have never traveled outside of Eastern Coastline of the USA. All the pictures I’ve seen of the Australia country side looks so beautiful and exciting. This would be one of the items on my “Bucket List” that I could mark off. The bag looks like it would hole all the things I need to carry with me daily. I like the long strap and all the conpartments I see on the picture. I also understand the people there are really friendly.

  • Who says that “just women” are entitled to carry bags this gorgeous! I’m one of those guys who never finds enough pockets on his pants–or most of the street-sold cheaper bags out there–to hold all I deem “vital” to take with me, be it a weekday or weekend treat I’m headed to! I like the way Baggallini Sydney has little catch corners and snap-open pouches, and its ability to expand to let me stuff all I’ve accumulated after a Sunday in New York. Yet over my shoulder this bag fits. And believe it or not, I’ve had subway riders stop and ask me where I found my truly unique over-the-shoulder friend!

—By George Earl on May 7, 2010 at 7:02 am

  • Hi–I would love to win the baggalini bag–I already own 2 travel pieces and one bag.

If I were to travel to Australia, I definitely would want to visit the Great Barrier Reef—one of the seven wonders of the world!!! To be able to observe and then see it first hand–snorkel, swimming, and viewing this beautiful scenic wonder!
Part of the beauty of this world is that people forget we are surrounded by wonders like this, and to have the opportunity to experience this in a lifetime would be unbelievable.

  • Are you kidding? I would head straight to Sydney to see that glorious city and visit with some dear friends who moved back home a few years ago and try to convince them to join me in my quest….. By far, Mara Mamba tiger’s eye is my goal and western Australia is the ONLY place that this incredible gemstone comes from!I want to see the mines and see what incredible pieces of tiger’s eye I can find — and that bag of mine would prove to be an incredible asset as it organizes all the info needed in order to pull this off!

—By pizzinl on May 7, 2010 at 8:00 am
  • First I’d go to the beautiful Sydney Opera House. I’ve seen pictures of it many times, it is so beautiful I’d love to see it inside and out. Then I’d head for the “outback” to see some kangaroos and kaola bears, and find out just what a vegemite sandwich is, and maybe even take a taste!! Travel round a bit to get a taste for the real Australia. I’d also have to buy some yarn (since I’m a knitter) from real Aussie sheep to knit a sweater that would go with all of my ONLINESHOES.COM boots and shoes.

  • I’m traveling to the south of France, to a wonderful town called La Ciotat later this month, so I would make excellent use of this bag. The most unusual thing I would carry would be my pétanque jack:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9tanque

Pétanque is a game like bocce that was invented in La Ciotat. The jack – which is what I would carry in my Zipper bag – is a small ball (diameter 30 mm) that one throws first, and then all the play centers around it.

(If I win my tournament, hopefully I’d also carry my prize money in my Baggalini.)

—By jennyl on June 4, 2010 at 5:45 am

I love my Baggallini bags because they have the compartments to make the search easier and they are tough enough not to get damaged under the stress. I’m a mom who likes to be prepared for everything and still look good!

  • The most unusual thing I would carry in this exquisite and breathtakingly gorgeous handbag is an old film canister filled with DIRT from Chimayo, NM that I personally dug up from the El Santuario de Chimayo Shrine when I was there in 2001. The dirt from this shrine is believed to have healing powers and I carry it with me wherever I go. My friends and family think this is weird, but I’d like to believe that there is some truth to the myths about this magical shrine and the miracles that the dirt it is housed on can perform, when needed. Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

  • Well….Portland, Oregon, is not as huge as Seattle, much less Shanghai, but is hugely blessed with numerous eye candy. The most exciting thing I’ve done in Portland was travel to Mount Hood National Forest and hike up to Bagsby Hot Springs and soak in the bathhouses, totally awesome!

  • Paris…of the many incredible sights, the most thrilling was sitting in the Monet Lily Pond room in the basement of the Musee de l’Orangerie, being surrounded 360 dergess with his magnificent painting.

  • San Francisco, California might just be the greatest city there is. It is a major metropolitan city, with all that accompanies – 4 star restaurants, cultural activities, shopping. It is a resort/vacation destination – sightseeing, nature/scenic beauty, boating, hotels. It is all business and all play at the same time. It is almost whatever you want it to be. I think of it as like what New York City would be if it had much better weather, friendlier people, Saucilito and Muir Woods. Best visiting memory – the Golden Gate Bridge early in the morning with the fog rolling off the mountainside and over the top of the bridge – breathtaking!

  • I will never forget celebrating my 40th Birthday at a baseball game in the Tokyo Dome stadium in 2003. It was my very first visit to Tokyo to visit my relatives while on a business trip and I was “awe” struck the entire time. Best Birthday of my life! We were treated to attend the baseball game compliments of one of the Fukuoka Hawks players playing against the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants. It was supposed to be the Oakland A’s vs. the Seattle Mariners. That game never happened due to the war that just started.

  • NYC – we’re just a hop, skip and a jump to one of the most glorious cities in the world. If it’s not happening in NYC, it’s not happening. The best food, fashion and fun. There’s not enough time to experience the heartbeat of the city. We go every holiday and enjoy the smell of chestnuts roasting while looking through the windows of major department stores to ogle their Christmas displays.

  • The most exciting city I’ve ever been was just recently to Buffalo NY to see Niagara Falls. I was taken back when seeing the waterfall for the first time ever in my 34 years of marriage. Probly the honeymoon we should have taken. It was breathtaking sight to behold. This of course was not considered a big exciting city by definition, but it was the trip I had always wished to go on and finally had the chance. I know if I had a purse like Baggellini Satchell, I surely would have had enough room in one bag for all the little extras for my trip like my video cam and cell phone which were the two most important things I needed on tour, not to mention a dry set of clothes after going on the Cave of the winds tour. How wet was that!!

Loved every moment, treasure every memory of this large city but still…no place like home, USA.

  • PARIS! I was 22 and on my way to Africa on a university research trip. We had a 1 night lay-over in Paris. After dinner, I hopped on a bus around 10pm by myself and randomly met some young (hot!) locals who offered to take me around the city! It happened to be the weekend of a popular music fest where there were street bands and local musicians playing on the streets of Paris all night long. I galavanted with my new friends until 7am sipping cappuccinos at various french cafes and listening to great music!

  • I read all the time so choosing one book for my trip with my fabulous new bad is so hard. That’s why I would travel with my Kindle and then I can carry hundreds of books in the space that one paperback takes. What books would I load up? Moloka’i, a Stephanie Plum book by Janet Evanovich, Pillars of the Earth, a Dianne Mott Davidson mystery, something by Jodi Piccoult.

  • Jane Eyre has been a favorite of mine since I read it as a teenager, paperback or otherwise. Jane’s heart and her willingness to stick up for herself and her friend in the face of punishment and ridicule, themes of forgiveness, the intrigue of mental illness and love winning in the end, even for a poor, plain girl have resonated for me.

  • While I can think of several that I have enjoyed over the years, without a doubt, the best pocket-sized book I’ve read recently is “The Sex Lives of Cannibals” by J. Maarten Troost. Troost accompanied his partner to Kiribati, on the equator in the Pacific Ocean. Expecting a paradise, this is the story of what he actually found – absolutely hilarious! When I saw it in an airport bookshop, I just had to buy it! And, being pocket-sized, it fit neatly into my purse. I’m sure it would now fit just as easily into a newly-won Baggallini Everyday Bagg!

It is such a good book.It has nice stories it has about three different stories going on in the lives of three women who want marriage, children, and a good life but never ask for it they go through good and bad times but at the end they all got pretty much what they needed to complete there life. I saw the movie. I could read this book over and over again. It is the kind of book you can’t put down.

  • Being a reader, there are few paperback books that I would not at one time or another have in my Baggallini Bag. Whether I’m traveling by air or waiting for a cab, I typically have a book in my hand. At the moment I am reading Henry Porter’s books. My favourite is actually his first novel, Remembrance. What I like is the intrigue of the story, but especially I like the language employed and the skill of a wordsmith.

  • The best paperback book I read was Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell. Orwell traded in his media credentials for a chance to fight the Facists in the Spanish Civil War. This autobiography is detailed account of his time at war, a political commentary, as well as a first hand account of the Catlan countryside and people. For anyone who liked 1984, or the ever popluar Animal Farm, Honage to Catalonia is another great read by Orwell.

  • At 74 my list of paperback books is nearly endless. I still have a couple from my college days in the 50′s but the best paperback book I have ever read was Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time. It is my favorite because it defines the eternal and etherial ideas of time, its impact on us all and its impact on everything that exists, written in a succinct and even entertaining way by the mind of one of the true genius of out time. Best of all Dr. Hawking gives us, nay encourages us to judge the book’s assumptions and data and form our own ideas and judgments about that eternal puzzle TIME.

  • My most cherished Book memory is from way back in my childhood; a book that helped lead to my love of reading. I would love to take time once again to read, “Misty of Chincoteague” by Marguerite Henry. This is the book I would put in my beautiful Baggallni Bag to once more return to the days of my childhood and the island of Chincoteague.

  • I have more than one Baggallini bag to make sure I have one to fit the book of the moment. In a pinch, my MP3 player is loaded with several different books and it fits in all my bags. A nice small book I like to read when not into something new is Stepford Wives. Thin, well written, and still creeps me out after several reads.

  • The best pocket-sized book I’ve read? “Radical Careering” by Sally Hogshead. This book is a jewel and contains many short and sweet ideas that will help you energized or change your career. I love the size, visual layout and brevity of the author’s suggestions. The stories are short enough for a bus ride, coffee break or short commute to work, and a perfect fit for the Everyday Bagg.

—By Teresa on September 2, 2010 at 9:21 am
  • The best pocket size paperback I have ever read is usually the last one I read…just like the last dessert I ate is usually the best one ever!!! What makes the book the best is the opportunity to visit a different world through a different set of eyes just as the ingredients of a tasty dessert uniquely stimulate one’s senses. The pleasure one gets from beautiful and useful accessories, culinary creativity, and another’s imaginative story, increases one’s appetite for life.

This book relates not only to your work but it also applies to everyone’s personal life. No matter what ever situation you are in, this book is an inspiration to a better outcome! Definitely the nudge we all need to a happier life!

We stopped at many ports on the way and I enjoyed using my bag for all my items including my book “The Clan of the Cave Bear” by Jean Auel. • Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Every single time I read it, I get something new from it. What an amazing book by an amazing woman!
One of Mrs Lindbergh’s thoughts is that everyone should take- one hour a day, one day a week, one month a year to herself. Take care of yourself so that you Can take care of others, as a friend, wife, mother, sister, daughter will. This applies to everyone, not just women, men can benefit from it as well.
I have quite a few copies. One for travel, one for home and always one to give away.

  • The best pocketbook I ever read is “Mother” (A Cradle to Hold Me)by Maya Angelou – a book of poems given to me by my daughter Lori. I keep it on my nightstand and read it quite often. I think I love it so much because it makes me feel really close to her each time I read it.

  • The best pocketbook I’ve read is Coming Into the Country by John McPhee. McPhee’s book conveyed to me Alaska’s wildness and the people who inhabited it.

My purse would have a good old story “the heart is a lonely hunter” by carson mccullers. my purse also carries a crossword puzzle book. pens, with white out for errors in the crossword book.i love nooks and crannies to stick other items that i can’t go anywhere without. I can carry a lot of stuff and still feel organized.

  • I just recently rediscovered the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. While fictional, it’s historical setting rings true. Reading it brings back that joyful, anticipatory sensation that used to accompany each well crafted and thoughtful letter I received from a friend, in the pre-electronic era!

  • I am not a big reader, but my favorite is the Bible. If we hide its words in our hearts, we will have solutions to all things that we come across in our day to day lives. God is good!!! Bible’s come in all different sizes and I am sure I could find one in paperback to fit perfectly in the Baggalinni.

  • It is difficult to choose one paperback! I think I would have to rotate my favorites through my Baggallini. When traveling, I love Dean Koontz stories, they break the monotony but I rarely read them more than once. If I know I will be re-reading something then David Sedaris’ “Me Talk Pretty One Day” is awesome. The classics “Rebecca” Daphne du Maurier or Emily Bronte’s “Wuthering Heights” are also great choices for my new bagg. I would love this bag. I need to be organized, but to have all I need with me.

  • My favorite locale in New York is the lower Broadway area near NYU. I love the Strand Bookstore (8 miles of books). You could get lost there. New, old, used and the great books you’ll never see in a chain bookstore. Right down the street is Fishs Eddy where you can buy old china from ships, hotels and the like. Always wacky and weird stuff here.

    —By meggie52 on October 7, 2010 at 5:02 am

  • I’m always carrying the bandaids, the water bottles, the tylenol, the maps, the subway tickets, etc . . . so I’d use the Baggallini bag to see the city in chic fashion! What I’d most like to do is walk around the fashion district or chinatown and have everyone say how much they love my bag, and ask me where I got it! I’m a fool for a great purse – and if the purse is functional – I can go everywhere!! NYC is a great place for a great purse!

  • NYC is my most favorite city in the world! But one of the sweetest spots for me is breakfast at Mandarin Court in Chinatown where they roll the carts around and you select what you want to eat. Yum! Things to see if I had a one day shot at NY: Empire State Building, walk up Fifth Ave, the ceiling at Grand Central Station, Times Square after dark, the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park.

—By phoenixcomet on October 7, 2010 at 5:25 am
  • My favorite place to visit in NYC is Rockefeller Center at Christmas time. I like watching the big tree being delivered and set up and I like going back in the evening to watch the ice skaters. It feels so Christmasy for a Californian to be there in December.

I also enjoy sitting down on the benches and watching the bubble blowers make over sized bubbles. Central Park is the perfect location to see tourists and native New Yorker’s spending their day.

—By tonerlady on October 7, 2010 at 11:04 am
  • I know exactly what I would want to do in New York City. First I would want to do the touristy things – like visit the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty and some of the neighborhoods like Soho and Greenwich Village just to walk around. I would spend the most time in Central Park a peaceful oasis in the bustle of the big city. I’ve read about some sights in Central Park that really catch my interest: the Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields and the Shakespeare Festival at Delacorte Theater. It all sounds wonderful to me.

    —By puma115 on October 7, 2010 at 11:12 am
  • With my baggallini bag, I could carry anything I might need to make a first trip to New York as user friendly as possible! It would be my first trip, so naturally I’d have to do the ‘touristy things’ like the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero (terrible that it gets lumped into touristy, but needs to be remembered), Empire State Building, the works! Sounds like a 2nd pair of shoes would be a must!

  • I love New York in the springtime. One of my favorite places to visit, with my Baggallini bag over my shoulder, is the Empire State Building. On my first visit I was ten years old and revisit the Empire State Building every time I’m in New York. Radio City Music Hall for a show or just to see the dancers is also pretty awesome.

—By gordyg on October 7, 2010 at 12:18 pm
  • After having been there only once before, with so much to see and do, i’d absolutely head for Broadway and see as many shows as a could after getting the tickets at the Marriot location.

—By kathryn villarreal on October 7, 2010 at 12:21 pm
  • The first place I go when I hit the Big Apple is Macy’s and get my shopping done. There isn’t anything you could want that Macy’s doesn’t carry. Then I would go down to the Village and see what the street vendors have for sale and the last couple of times I was there I took the bus way downtown to the UN and shopped in their basement shops and restaurants of every country on the planet. About a month before I go I would call the Tavern on the Green in Central Park to make reservations for lunch, a not to be missed event in the city. Finally I would go over to the Museum of Modern Art as they always have wonderful displays and their gift shops are to die for if you are looking for great gifts.

The Statue of Liberty would be at the top of the list followed by Central Park and as many other things as I could cram in to my time there. That New Yorker Baggallini bag looks like it would be perfect for a wonderful adventure in the “Big Apple”.

I love central park in september when the weather cools a little and the grass is green. We also miss trips to FAO Schwartz with the kids around christmas time. We have never made it to the statue of liberty yet but that is on the list.

  • My favorite place in NY to go is to Bello, for dinner, on 56th and 9th. Have been going there for years after a day tooling around on the upper west side and central park, or before the theater. My sister used this bag all summer. She loved it. Hence, I learned for the first time about Baggallini. I loved the bag and the name. They’re a good fit. She uses it in Vermont and New York. It is sturdy, stylish, elegant and practical at the same time for a busy woman. That’s the kind of bag I need. What’s not to like.

  • One of my favorite places in NYC is the Esplanade running north from Battery Park. It has great views.

  • I’ve never been to New York.. I’d love to see the Statue of Liberty!

—By Gianna on October 11, 2010 at 11:47 pm
  • If I had the opportunity to visit New York, I’d take some time and go to Chinatown. Back in the 80′s we used to go as a family eat Peking Duck, noodles and other tasty food. I wonder if the area has changed over time. Probably not.

  • I would love to win the Baggallini bag!!! I think I would give the Baby Hampton bag to my daughter–she would love the organizational features with zippered compartments and pockets for everything. Plus it would fit her kindle. It looks casual and contemporary, perfect for everyday, but smart with the organizational features. I suspect she’ll get as hooked on Baggallini as I am!

  • IfI could give a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg to a friend who needs help getting organized it would be Jane because she needs a pick me up and go

—By linda lansford on November 4, 2010 at 8:37 pm
  • I would definitely give my girlfriend the Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg because I know how much she struggles sometimes in finding items in her bag. She has one of those shoulder bags with two pockets on the outside and a big pit hole inside. I was planning on getting a really nice one for her for Christmas but I thought I’d give this a shot. I know she would go crazy for this bag since it looks like it would really suit her style. Thanks for the opportunity! :)

    —By Hers_forever on November 4, 2010 at 10:07 pm
  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Hampton to my friend, Nancy, because she is the one to introduce me to the wonderful collection of Baggallinis! Then we can both work on trying to become more organized.

  • I find these bags just so stylish yet practical.

    —By tlc1933 on November 5, 2010 at 9:33 am
  • I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton to my daughter-in-law Sue as in most of her busy life she is quite well organized but when it comes to her purse it is a disaster waiting to happen. She spends more time trying to find stuff in her bag than she does using whatever it is she is looking for.

    —By mensa63 on November 5, 2010 at 11:50 am
  • If i won a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg I would probably keep it for myself, because I just CANNOT organize any purse I’ve ever owned. -

    —By may1927 on November 6, 2010 at 4:00 pm
  • I’d give the Baggallini to my divorced mother-of-two daughter, whom I call Hurricane Janet, which tells you just how disorganized she is!

    —By bren592 on November 7, 2010 at 4:43 am
  • I would head right for Killarney ,Ireland.

—By jp on November 7, 2010 at 5:03 am
  • I’d give a Baggallini Bag to my daughter Kira. She is a busy, on-the-go young woman. Kira works with kids all day and doesn’t have time to be disorganized. She needs to have all the tools of her trade, as well as her personal essentials at hand. And she would look great carrying it, too!

—By Lori on November 7, 2010 at 5:04 am
  • It would have to be my mom! She is known for carrying everything one might need at any point, any where, anytime! She would really get great use out of it!! And she is always traveling up and down the road visiting grandkids! It would be great for her!

—By Beka on November 7, 2010 at 5:08 am
  • I would give a bag to my 20-something daughter who totes her essentials in a backpack. She works as a field biologist, and may be up to her waist in mud (really!) in the morning, off to a meeting in the afternoon, and (hopefully) out to dinner with a dishy man………all the while carrying a backpack or messenger bag……..how un-professional. I would like to update her bag.

—By nancy on November 7, 2010 at 5:08 am
  • A dear friend recently had twin girls, and she likes to keep them in high style–the baggallini bag is perfect for those velcro fashion accessories–AND–spare diapers, bottles, wipes, etc. THIS bag could do double-duty for stylin’ twins and their fashionista mom who could use a SUPER-BAG!

    —By am1murray on November 7, 2010 at 5:08 am
  • My Baggallini bag would be shared by everyone from my tween daughters who would love the color and great look to my teenage daughter who wants to look good and be organized as she runs from one activity to the next and finally by me because I can never seem to find my wallet, cell, sunglasses, lipgloss when on the go with all of these girls!

—By shuffman on November 7, 2010 at 5:10 am
  • I would give the Baggalini bag to my mother; a retired woman who loves to travel with my children. She always has something for the kids o do, usually held in multiple bags. This bag would allow her to carry all of the kids toys in one spot and always know where they are – assuming the kids don’t take them and forget to put them back of course :-) Everything would be organized and hand for the quick pick up and go trip that they all love!

—By Tracy on November 7, 2010 at 5:15 am
  • My dearest friend is always so organized, but complains her purse will not hold everything, she would love something stylish, yet would be roomy enough to carry her lunch, and purse contents, stay organized and make it easier to go off to work with fewer bags to carry.

—By Jeanne Bailey on November 7, 2010 at 5:26 am
  • I would give any new mom a Baggalini Baby Hampton Bagg because
as a new mom you need all the help you can get!

—By Marybeth on November 7, 2010 at 5:27 am
  • I would give it to my friend Dulce who is a busy mom with two young daughters. It is mind boggling how much stuff you need to bring to any outing when you have young kids.

—By Bonnie on November 7, 2010 at 5:33 am
  • My daughter juggles the life of a mom of two little boys with researching and publishing in her field of early childhood language acquisition. She is efficient and organized, but the Baggallini Baby Hampton would help her even more. And giving her this gift would be a great way to let her know I admire her style.

—By CRK on November 7, 2010 at 5:47 am
  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Bagg to my daughter Beth and her 17 month baby Joseph. It would be perfect to stay organized during Chemo for his rare form of Liver Cancer, called Hepatoblastoma -Stage III (a softball size tumor embedded around blood vessels). Being lightweight Beth can easily carry Joseph and the bag. With hospital stays (in and outpatient) and life changing day by day having something organized and structured would make life easier. With the organizational pockets everything will have its own designed place including the cell phone and be handy when needed.

—By Cindy on November 7, 2010 at 5:51 am
  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Hampton to my mother. She loves to be organized and is very particular about her handbags. She would love a Baggallini Baby Hampton!

—By donna on November 7, 2010 at 5:52 am
  • Well, I would love to keep one for myself, however;I would give it to my sister. She is a busy working mom with two active children and with her husband working all of the time, feels like a single mom. She has a heart of gold and never can say “no” to anyone so she is off and about planning parties for her school and parent gatherings and running all around on the go all of the time. She needs a great bag like this one to “keep it all together” and put some organization into what is not too much of an organized lifestyle. I know that the amazing quality and function of this bag would bring some sort of order and practicality into her busy life while she is running around to school, work, mommy functions and visiting grandma and grandpa. She is well deserving of a great bag like this.

—By Fashiongal on November 7, 2010 at 5:59 am
  • I love baggallini. I have a whole travel set. It is the best.

—By eflan on November 7, 2010 at 6:05 am
  • I would give the bag to our daughter who is away at college! She really needs to stay organized whether she is going to classes or coming home for the weekend. This brand is well made and very durable & I know she would appreciate both of these qualities. She could fit everything for class or traveling and feel well prepared!

  • I would use this bag for everything.

—By cchair on November 7, 2010 at 6:26 am
  • If I could not have this bag, I would give it to my new daughter-in-law to be. She could use it for her honeymoon with my son in April 2010!!!

—By cchair on November 7, 2010 at 6:28 am
  • I would give my mom a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg. She’s newly single, and both overwhelmed and disorganized and in need of a style pick-me-up. The bagg would achieve both!

—By Rachel on November 7, 2010 at 6:31 am
  • If I could give a Baggallini bag to anybody, it would be my sister-in-law. She has three kids, the oldest has special needs. She’s always on the go and never has time to spend on herself.

—By BethBarrow on November 7, 2010 at 6:32 am
  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg to my mom. I know it will have the perfect pocket for her reading glasses. She’s always in search of them and it would be great for all the other miscellaneous stuff she has to carry (i.e. cell phone, wallet, tissues, lotions, cosmetics, gum, mints, pens, sanitizer, etc.

—By deeva on November 7, 2010 at 6:34 am

—By Krista on November 7, 2010 at 6:37 am
  • I would give the bag to my Mom. She is a Japanese and Chinese language teacher who can definitely us a light weight bag to organize and carry her teaching materials when she commutes to work.

—By tckathyliu on November 7, 2010 at 6:45 am
  • I would use my Baggallini Bag to keep me organized when on an outing with the grandchildren. I am always needing snacks, kleenex, toys, books which always seem to fall to the bottom of my other bags.

—By ksloboden on November 7, 2010 at 6:50 am
  • I would give it to my friend Pnina who has severe medical issues. She’s constantly running to appointments and procedures and spends many nights in the hospital while juggling her other kids around. She still manages to be pretty put together and fashionable but I’m sure she would love a nice big bag to help her keep everything she needs on hand for whatever pops up

—By aahaft on November 7, 2010 at 6:56 am
  • “If you could give a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg to a friend or a relative who needs help getting organized, who would it be and why?” This is easy, I’d give the bag to my mom. Why? Because she still carries all but the kitchen sink in her purse. It’s amazing – need a bandaid, it’s in there, need a clohes pin (yess the wooden kind) it’s in there, need a change of panty hose, it’s in there. Now she’s a grandma and this bag will come in handy toting around all her stuff and her two grand daughters findings: rocks, leaves, flowers, etc. I believe the bag is made for her.

—By sparklekittysf on November 7, 2010 at 7:01 am
  • love Baggalini bags! I own two and love how they keep me organized.

—By sstell on November 7, 2010 at 7:19 am
  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Hampton to my youngest daughter who grew up in the country and now lives in the city, where she has to carry everything around. much improvement over a backpack as she would look city chic!

—By soccermom on November 7, 2010 at 7:20 am
  • I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton to my mother. She is always dumping out her purse to find something she needs especially her keys. Plus her current purse has a rip in the lining which is always eating something in her purse. We have spent days looking for her keys only to find them inside the lining. If only my poor mother had an intact purse with more organization she would not misplace her keys so often and we could get where we are going without as much angst.

—By sheryleq on November 7, 2010 at 7:39 am
  • I’d give the Baggallini to my daughter who needs all the organizational help possible. She’s one of the best people I know, but definately organizationally challenged!

—By Labmaven on November 7, 2010 at 7:43 am
  • I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton to my sister who is working full time and helping raise her 2 year old granddaughter. She is extremely busy and needs help being more organized. I’m sure it would be great as a baby
bag. When I bought one for traveling, a person in line told me they had used the same one for just that! She needs all the help she can get! A purse and all the extras.

—By bozini on November 7, 2010 at 7:49 am
  • I would give this bag to my very hip mom. Sometimes her sense of style would be compromised for practicality. She tends to carry bags which are years old because she’s familiar with them – yet struggles to look for misplaced things in them. With the Baggallini Baby Hampton bag she could now combine style with organized convenience and nothing will ever get lost. Hooray!!!

—By Suzan Bennett on November 7, 2010 at 7:53 am

  • My sister, whom I love, has papers gathered around her house, her car and her purses. Piles and more piles of papers, everywhere you go, everywhere you look and nothing ever to be found!
She needs a Baggallini bag to lighten her load, so she can get organized!

—By marisari on November 7, 2010 at 8:54 am
  • I would give the bag to my friend, Helen. If one added up the minutes that she has spent, searching through her purses for things she “knows she put, somewhere”, she’d probably get a whole day back! Besides, she is a purse lover of the first order, and this looks like a very fine bag, indeed.

—By knittnnurse on November 7, 2010 at 8:55 am
  • I would give the bag to my daughter who is a freshman in college. She takes the train when she comes home for weekends and this bag would help her be more organized and she would be able to pack more things in it.

  • I would love to give the Baggallini Baby Hampton Bagg to my sister. She’s been widowed for 8 years, takes care of everybody except herself, and is always on the go. ANYTHING I could do to help get her organized and feeling great about herself would be my dream come true!

—By Elizabeth on November 7, 2010 at 9:39 am
  • I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton to my sister. She is not very organized and frequently cannot find what she is looking for. She works very hard as a therapist, trying to help people with their problems, and also is responsible for her husband , home and two dogs. With this level of responsibility, she has very little free time and usually feels quite stressed. A bag that helps her to be more organized and keeps more items right at hand would help her a lot.

  • I would give a Baggallini Baby Hampton to my sister-in-law because she’s super busy with a 17-year-old, an 8-year-old and 6-year-old triplets, and hasn’t carried a REAL purse for years! She deserves a purse that’s organized and roomy at the same time!

—By Kel on November 7, 2010 at 10:36 am
  • If I could give a Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg to a friend or a relative who needs help getting organized, I would give it to my mom. This bag has so many pockets and compartments that it would be perfect for her when she travels by airplane or bus. This bag should be named the Baggallini Everything Bagg as it doesn’t look like a baby bag and it sure seems like it would fit everything in it!

    —By roo96706 on November 7, 2010 at 10:41 am
  • I would travel with my Baggallini in the summer, fall, winter and spring, taking it with me on training runs, bike tours, hiking, fishing etc. etc.

    —By abarbie4me2 on November 7, 2010 at 11:15 am
  • I would give on to my mother. She carries such a large purse and she crams so much stuff in in that you can’t and she can’t find anything in there. Not to mention that we are short people, both being 5’2″ and 5′, with such a big purse and a short body her shoulders are always hurting. Often times when we are out shoping I end up carring her purse for her because I fell sorry for her so not only would it help her but it would also help me out!

—By ahaney on November 7, 2010 at 11:22 am
  • I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton to my dear sister-in-law, Loretta. She has two grandbabies less than two years of age, and she is dealing with a one-holer purse I gave her last year. She needs something better!

    —By rlaird27 on November 7, 2010 at 12:25 pm
  • My sister, Janet, would be the new owner of the Baggallini bag if I won. She is a major traveler, commuting from Long Island to Brooklyn, NY to work as a physician, and traveling once or twice twice a month to California to visit with our mother. She is a great traveler and packer, and this bag would help her to organize both her local train tickets and gear as well as her transcontinental tickets and gear. She deserves a great new bag to help her keep her busy life organized.

I love her soooo much and know she could really use the Baggalini Baby Hampton. And, well, if we don’t win it, I’ll probably have to buy her one :) )

In order to juggle all the aspects of our lives – from jobs to shopping, from shlepping kids to evenings out our handbags need to do alot – a baggalini is up to the task keeping every little necessity organized and easily available. A great gift that keeps giving. Did I say it wears well too?

I would give the Baggallini Baby Hampton bagg to my daughter-in-law Melissa because she is expecting another baby at the end of December. I have one grandson already. She works as a PT and also takes classes on line plus teaching infant massage. She could put everything for the baby, toddler, class and work in the bag and cut down on what she has to carry.

  • Easy as pie to know what I would do with the Baggallini Bagg… Give it to my daughter who gives me happiness all the time! With two very active little girls who require constant organization from her, how awesome to give her something so beautiful and fun to help her do it all!
