Warm weather is on the way, so it’s time to talk about one of my favorite things: sandals. I’ve gathered a list of my Top 20 favorites. We’ll be sharing them here at the blog in four different categories over several days. All of my picks are comfortable sandals—and stylish, too. What do you love most about sandal season?
Today’s category is great picnic sandals. Perfect with skirts and summer dresses, these sandals are just the thing for days enjoying downtime at the park or at a backyard party. An insider’s take on obsession-worthy products and trends for style that pops.
What you see here is the classic Dansko Professional clog, an icon of comfort footwear. Being me, I chose to spotlight a fun zebra-print, but I’m sure you’ve noticed solid colors on the feet of nurses, chefs, teachers, and other people who like to feel energized despite long hours of standing.
Can you name the Dansko collection that the Professional belongs to? If not, keep reading to discover the many facets of Dansko clogs, shoes, and sandals, from classic styles you recognize to newer ones you may be surprised (and delighted) to discover offer Dansko comfort. Dansko has more than ten collections. In the interest of space, today’s exploration will cover the three that I think you most need to know about. Each of these collections is accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association—that’s a sure sign of their comfort!

Think winter boots need to be bulky, stiff and not-so-stylish? Banish the thought that you can’t be warm, dry and cute at the same time. Now, waterproof boots and insulated boots come in adorable styles that I can’t wait to wear. The hottest brand making awesome-looking boots with tons of winter function (Waterproof! Warm) is Sorel.
The sweet boot above, with the snake-print foot, tweed top, and bright pink laces? It’s the Sorel Tivoliâ„¢ boot. If you like the look of it, you might want to snag a pair ASAP, because I have a feeling it’s going to be very popular this season. Oprah included it in O: The Oprah Magazine as a great all-weather boot. With a waterproof shell, a soft fleece lining, Thinsulateâ„¢ for warmth, and a cushy footbed, I think the Sorel Tivoli boot is indeed a great all-weather winter boot.

When I was browsing Onlineshoes.com for eye-catching styles this week, I fell in love with a pint-sized New Balance style.
The New Balance 574 sneaker is available for girls and boys in a smorgasbord of colors and designs. The 574 is a great all-around sneaker, with EVA cushioning for support and a non-marking rubber outsole that gives dependable traction. It’s perfect for kids on the go.
Warning: Choosing between these cuties may be extremely difficult.
