The average pair of newSKY shoes contains material from eight 20-ounce PET bottles that are shredded, processed and engineered into newSKY’s unique upper material. The material utilizes 95% post-consumer recycled PET plastic bottles, and is adhered to the newSKY outsole with durable water-based glue. These shoes are also built with less material than traditional New Balance athletic shoes through a thoughtful design of the upper.
