These never wear out, but I've had five pair over the last 30 years because dogs think they are a perfect chew toy. They are big and clunky, but so comfortable with or without socks, indoors or out. get them muddying and just hose them down. Can't live without them.

I got these for christmas, when I slipped my foot into the shoe, it was like completing my step into the ground. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and the arch support was maybe the best I have EVER felt, even with my orthotics that are an exact mold of my foot, these shoes are the best I've ever had. I also love that they have the straps across the top that give it a ballerina shoe look, super cute.
