I love espadrilles, but don't like the heel to be too high. Nor do I like having to tie things around my ankle or loud colors (that's great for younger people). So these shoes seemed to be ideal. However, the sizing chart is completely wrong. Compare the sizing chart with another European brand(e.g. Wolky). Size 39 is usually U.S. 7.5 - 8. Here the sizing chart says a 38 is 7.5 - 8. So I ordered the 38. No way! The shoe looks and feels like a 6.5 - 7 at best, perhaps even a 6. Very narrow. I can't review the comfort or support because I couldn't even get my foot into it. Had to return them. Too bad.

I just loved this shoe, and couldn't wait to try it on. It was beautiful, but just a touch too short in the last to make it perfect for me. I thought about trying to stretch it out, but support in the shoe bed prevented that. I was so disappointed! Think this is the most perfect-looking summer sandal.
